IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU!
If you ask me when I started taking pictures I don't exactly remember. As a kid I would get in trouble because I would take too many pictures of random things with our old Canon camera (it was during the days when you had to process the film after all). Now I think my parents don't have any hard feelings since they get the "family discount" with my old hobby.
I'm now back home in Northern California living with my husband and Goldendoodle named Theodore. I grew up in San Francisco, right in the city. Even though I loved being in California I wanted to experience an actual winter so I went to college on the East Coast on a golf scholarship. I soon realized winter wasn't my thing after I had to climb may way through six feet of snow to get to my car one year. It took me nearly a decade to come back home and it's definitely made me appreciate this area a lot more. I'm now living in Sacramento, working for a local television station as a reporter, and working as a wedding and portrait photographer in my spare time.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

During a wedding there is so much going on but one of my favorite parts is shooting all the flowers, the heirlooms, and all the details that makes every wedding so unique.

One of the biggest advantages to having two photographers at a wedding is being able to have more time! I love getting to know my brides and grooms and capturing moments before the ceremony.

I never thought I would be one of those people who would collect red wine rather than drink it but it happened! While living in Virginia, I loved exploring wineries in Charlottesville. Still one of my favorite places!

If you haven't noticed, I spent a lot of time shooting in Southwest Virginia. It's where I started my photography business. There's just something about Virginia that I love. I know my camera loves it!

OUR STORY:
THE REASON WHY
we do what we do
Life is so precious and beautiful and it's so important to capture it! Aside from a few keepsakes, we live through our photographs. They tell our story of who we are and how we got here. A photograph can capture your emotions, what you're feeling during that moment. I believe photography is an investment and what you can share with generations to come.
